Binh Duong is officially honored as the Top 1 by the ICF World Smart Communities Forum

On October 26th in New York City, USA (early morning on October 27th, 2023, Vietnam time), the Smart City - Innovative Region of Binh Duong was officially honored by the ICF World Smart Communities Forum with the TOP 1 award for exemplary smart development strategies in 2023.

Since 2019, Binh Duong Smart City has been honored in the Smart21 list (Top 21 Smart Communities) five times and has been in the Top 7 communities with smart city development strategies by the ICF Forum three times in 2021, 2022, and 2023. This year, for the first time in the 24-year history of the organization, the ICF World Smart Communities Forum has awarded the highest title to a locality in Vietnam, Binh Duong, as the Smart City of the Year 2023!

Mr. Mai Hung Dung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, received the award on behalf of Binh Duong.
