子どもたちの学びは、教科書や教室の中だけに限られるものではありません。校外学習での発見、友だちと取り組むスポーツ、初めて自分自身で買い物をする経験なども、子どもたちの成長を支える大切な学びの機会となります。 

ベカメックス東急は、実社会とつながる多様な学びの機会を提供したいという想いから、TOKYU Garden City内の公共空間や商業施設を活用した教育的な校外学習プログラム「KIDS TOUR」を実施しています。これまで本プログラムには、ビンズン区内外の多くの学校にご参加いただき、生徒たちに日常生活と結びついた学びを提供してきました。

1. 自然とサステナブルな暮らしについて学ぶ 

KIDS TOURの代表的な訪問先の一つが、サステナブルな取り組みを特徴とする商業施設「Hikari」です。

Hikariでは、子どもたちはごみの分別について学び、キッチンごみを有機肥料へと変えるコンポストの仕組みを学びます。 

また、水辺や自然光、食用植物を取り入れた景観を通じて、都市空間の中で自然がどのように共存しているのかを実際に観察します。 

こうした体験を通じて、環境を大切にする意識が自然に育まれ、子どもたちの心に残る学びとなっています。

KIDS TOURでは、自然観察だけではなく、商業施設を訪れ、日常生活に近い環境の中で学ぶ機会も提供しています。

子どもたちは、限られた予算の中で、自分に必要な商品を選び、必要性や好みを考えながら買い物をする経験をします。また、店舗スタッフへ声をかけ、コミュニケーションを取ることで、社会との関わり方も学びます。 

一見すると日常の体験ですが、自立心や意思決定力、そしてコミュニケーションへの自信を育む大切な一歩となっています。 

3. チームワークの大切さを学ぶ 

フットサルコート「SORA gardens Links」では、スポーツイベントを通じて運動をするだけでなく、協力することの大切さを学びます。

ゲームやスポーツを通じて、子どもたちは仲間と協力すること、ルールを守ること、困難な場面に励まし合うこと、そして達成した喜びを分かち合うことを学びます。これらは、教科書だけでは得ることのできない、人生において大切な学びの一つです。

もう一つの訪問先が、ベカメックス東急バスです。

 ここでは、子どもたちは運行を支えるスタッフと交流し、バス運転士の仕事や、安全な運行を実現するための日々の取り組みについて学びます。 

体験を通じて、交通安全のルールや公共交通機関を利用する際のマナー、地域社会を支える人々への感謝と敬意の心を育む機会となっています。 

KIDS TOURはわずか1日の短いプログラムですが、子どもたちが持ち帰るものは、写真や思い出だけではありません。 時に、最も記憶に残る学びは教科書や教室の中ではなく、日常にある体験から生まれることがあります。 

ベカメックス東急は今後も各学校との連携を深め、体験型学習の機会をさらに広げることで、未来を担う子どもたちに向けた、身近で魅力的かつ価値ある課外学習の場づくりに貢献していきます。 

"一日の体験から、数えきれない学びを"

ベカメックス東急にとって、TOKYU Garden Cityのさまざまな空間は、日々の生活を豊かにするだけでなく、生活の中から学ぶことができる「課外学習の場」でもあります。 

KIDS TOUR ― TOKYU Garden Cityでの体験型学習プログラム

スマートフォンやタブレット、オンラインゲームが身近になった今、子どもたちは画面越しにつながる時間が増えています。そんな時代だからこそ、リアルな世界で一緒に遊び、ともに成長できる友だちの存在は、かけがえないものです。 Lap くん（右・青いTシャツ）とPhong くん（左・白いTシャツ）の子ども時代は、TOKYU Garden City で過ごした日々の中で、サッカーと笑顔、そして温かなな友情に彩られています。

第1章: 「はじめまして」から親友へ

LapくんとPhongくんの友情は、川崎フロンターレサッカースクールへの入会をきっかけに始まりました。 

ある日の練習中、入会したばかりのLapくんに、Phongくんが自ら声をかけたことが二人の最初の出会いでした。その何気ない一言をきっかけに、練習を重ねるうちに少しずつ距離が縮まり、いくつか親友と呼べる存在になりました。 

「SORA gardens Linksのフットサルコートで出会いました。ボールを競り合ったとき、『この子、すごく上手だな』と思いました。」とLapくんは振り返ります。 

「Lapくんは明るくて親しみやすく、サッカーも上手な子だと思いました。きっといい仲間になれると思いました。」— Phong くん 

仲の良い二人ですが、試合中はライバルとして全力でプレーします。試合終了のホイッスルが鳴れば、また一緒に遊ぶ仲良しの友だちに戻ります。 

第2章：何気なく過ごす日々が大切な思い出

サッカーだけではなく、放課後も二人は楽しい時間を過ごしています。 

「よく一緒にご飯を食べに行きます。」— Lap くん 

「川崎フロンターレサッカースクール以外でも一緒に遊びます。将来はサッカー選手になって、ライバルになるかもしれないね、なんて話もしています。」— Phong くん 

週末には、川崎フロンターレサッカースクール以外のイベントで顔をあわせることもあります。Phong くんは、植樹活動やサッカー観戦など川崎フロンターレサッカースクールが開催するイベントがお気に入り。 

一方、Lapくんは、TOKYU Garden Cityで開かれる週末イベントやアクティビティが好きだそうです。

TOKYU Garden Cityで好きな場所を尋ねると、それぞれ違う答えが返ってきましたが、どちらも子ども時代を彩る身近な場所でした。

もし新しく引っ越してきた友だちがいたら、きっと二人はTOKYU Garden Cityのお気に入りの場所を案内してくれることでしょう。 

第3章: 友だちと遊ぶ？それともスマホ？ 

子どもたちがスマートフォンやタブレットの画面を見て過ごす時間が増えている今の時代ですが、二人はスマホよりも友だちとリアルで遊ぶ方が好きだそうです。 

ゲームと友だちとの遊びを比べた Lapくんの言葉が印象的でした。 

「ゲームの世界はバーチャルだけど、友だちと遊ぶのはリアルだから、その方が楽しいです。」 

二人にとって、子ども時代を特別なものにしているのは、最新のゲームではなく、フットサルコートの芝生を走る時間や友だちと交わす何気ない会話のようです。 

一番印象に残っている出来事について尋ねると、二人ともサッカーにまつわる思い出を挙げてくれました。 

「一緒にサッカーの試合で勝ったことと、一緒に遊びに行ったことです。」— Lap くん 

「ゴーダウ・スタジアムで、ベカメックス・ホーチミン市FCとハノイFCの試合を一緒に観に行ったことです。」 — Phongくん

日々の練習や試合をともに乗り越える中で、お互いのことをより深く理解できるようになりました。 Lapくんにとって、Phong くんは単なるサッカー仲間ではなく、大切な親友です。

そして二人は、サッカーへの情熱だけでなく、将来の夢も共有しています。だからこそ、Phongくんは親友の夢を叶えることを願っています。

友情は、何気ない出会いから始まります。それはフットサルコートか、公園か、あるいは週末に開かれるイベントかもしれません。 

子どもたちが出会い、ともに遊び、共通の趣味を分かち合う時間の中でその友情は少しずつ育まれていきます。

TOKYU Garden Cityで育まれる、幼なじみの友情

TOKYU Garden Cityの日常に は、毎日の“移動”が欠かせません。 

10年以上にわたり、KAZE BUSはこのまちの暮らしに欠かせない存在として、人々の移動を支えてきました。グレーとブルーを基調とした車体は、 “風” をイメージした軽やかなデザインが特徴です。また、環境に配慮したCNG（圧縮天然ガス）を採用することで、排出ガスの削減にも取り組み、環境に優しい移動手段として地域に貢献しています。 

その裏側には、運行を支える多くのスタッフたちの存在があります。 
今回は、KAZE BUSの舞台裏をご紹介します。

1. 運転士 —安全な運行を支える最前線

快適で安全な旅は、運転士一人ひとりの経験と責任感によって支えられています。彼らの仕事は、ただバスを運転するだけではありません。ブレーキやタイヤ、方向指示灯などの車両点検はもちろん、Wi-Fiや車内アナウンス設備まで細かく点検し、お客さまが安心して利用できる環境を整えています。さらに、車両を常に清潔に保ち、いつでも気持ちよく乗車いただける状態を維持しています。

仕事の中で感じる「やりがい」は何ですか？

LE VAN HOANGさん （運転士）： 「私たち運転士にとっての喜びは、お客さまを安全かつ時間通りに目的地へお送りすることです。お客さまから「ありがとう」の言葉や笑顔をいただくたびに、この仕事のやりがいを感じています。地域社会に貢献できること、そしてプロフェッショナルな環境で働けることに誇りを持っています。」

2. 運輸部 — 定時運行を支える司令塔

ベカメックス東急バスの運輸部の使命は、日本品質の公共交通サービスとして、「安全」と「定時運行」を支えることです。各バスの運行ダイヤや運転士の勤務表を調整し、毎日の運行が円滑に進むよう管理しています。運輸部はバスは道路状況や運行状況を常に確認し、る変化に迅速に対応しています。 

また、ホットラインを通じてお客さまからの問い合わせやご意見にも対応し、サービス改善にも取り組んでいます。これらすべては、「バスが時間通りに到着すること」、「お客さまが安心して利用できるようにすること」その当たり前を守るためです。 

安全な運行を提供するうえで、最も大切にしていることは何ですか？ 

NGUYEN HONG TINHさん （運輸部マネージャー）：「最も大切なのは“責任感”です。ベカメックス東急バスでは、「安全・快適・責任」をモットーにしています。安全運行は運転士だけで成り立つものではなく、運行管理や徹底した車両点検など、各チームの連携によって支えられています。今後も、お客さまに信頼いただける運行を目指していきます。」 

3. 整備・メンテナンス — 快適な運行を支える技術者 

整備・メンテナンスチームは、日々の点検や整備、技術的なトラブル対応を通じて、車両の安定運行を支えています。安全に関わる重要な部分の点検はもちろん、車内清掃や空間のメンテナンスまで、すべての工程を毎日の運行前後に丁寧に行っています。彼らは単にバスを整備するのではなく、お客さまの安全な移動を支えている存在です。

運行品質を維持するために、どのような点検・整備を行っていますすか？ 

NGUYEN VAN CUONGさん （整備スタッフ）： 「KAZE BUSでは、「故障が起こる前に予防する」ことを大切にしています。消耗部品の交換基準を設け、月次・年次の定期メンテナンスを実施しています。また、日常点検も主体的に行い、トラブルを未然に防ぎ、お客さまに安全で快適な乗り心地を提供できるよう努めています。」 

4. 企画部 — “もっと利用しやすいバス”を考える

企画部では、利用状況やお客さまのニーズを調査し、より使いやすい運行ダイヤやサービスづくりに取り組んでいます。また、学生向け定期券、高齢者向け無料乗車制度、TOKYU Garden City住民向け定期券の発行など、地域に寄り添った制度やキャンペーンを企画しています。より多くの方にKAZE BUSを身近に感じていただき、日常の移動手段として利用していただくことが企画部の役割です。

企画部が目指していることを教えてください。

NGUYEN TAN KHOAさん （企画部リーダー）：「私たちが目指しているのは、単に時間通りに運行することだけではなく、日本スタイルの「安全・モダン・プロフェッショナル」な公共交通サービスを築くことです。適切な運行ダイヤ設計やプロモーション活動、定期券の展開を通じて、より多くの方に“信頼できる移動手段”として選ばれる存在を目指していきます。」

このまちの移動を支える、それぞれの役割 

4つの部署、それぞれ異なる役割を担いながらも、目指しているものは同じです。それは、「地域の皆ささまに、安全で快適な移動を届けること」です。 

KAZE BUSは単なる移動手段ではなく、人とまちをつなぐ存在です。 

その運行の裏側には、多くのスタッフの支えがあります。 

日々の移動手段としてKAZE BUSを選ぶこと。 

それが、環境に配慮したまちづくりや、持続可能な社会にもつながっています。

BECAMEX TOKYU, Japan Vietnam Festival in Ho Chi Minh City - JVF

2023年6月にスポーツ・エンターテインメント複合施設「SORA gardens Links」が開業に伴い、スケートパークは同施設内で最初に運営を開始した施設の一つとしてオープンしました。ビンズン新都市において、ストリートスポーツを愛する人々に新たな体験の場を提供しています。

本スケートパークは広々とした空間に設計されており、レッジやステア、ランプなど多様なセクションを備えています。初心者から上級者まで、さまざまなレベルの利用者が練習や体験を楽しめる環境となっています。

また、スケートボードに限らず、BMX（バイクモトクロス）などのアーバンスポーツにも柔軟に対応しており、多様なスポーツが交わるコミュニティ空間の創出に貢献しています。

2026年3月には、「第11回ベトナム・ジャパンフェスティバル（JVF）」の一環である「Japan – Vietnam Urban Sports Day」の会場として選定されました。

本イベントにはストリートスポーツコミュニティが集い、「Japan Street League」および「AJSA Japan Pro Tour」で活躍するプロスケートボーダー・安部 来夢選手も参加しました。

本イベントでは迫力あるパフォーマンスを披露されただけでなく、本スケートパークが今後、交流の拠点やイベント、スポーツ大会の開催地として発展していく可能性を示す機会となりました。

アクティブなライフスタイルとストリートスポーツのためのダイナミックな空間

2025年11月、SORA gardens IIの1階に新店舗が正式にオープンしました。ここでは文学、ビジネス、マンガなど、さまざまなジャンルの数千冊の書籍を提供します。また、文房具、ギフト、玩具、限定デザインの商品も幅広く取り揃えています。

FABICO書店Hung Vuong店は、400㎡を超える広々とした明るい空間と読書体験エリアを備え、家族全員がリラックスしながら知識の世界を一緒に探求できる理想的な場所を提供します。

FABICO書店Hung Vuong店 のオープンは、新たな文化・レジャー施設の誕生であると同時に、TOKYU Garden City コミュニティにおける学びや知識への関心を高めることが期待されています。

2025年8月、ビンズン新都市にあるスポーツ複合施設 「SORA gardens Links」内に、ピックルボール専用コート「TOTO NEOREST Pickleball Court」を正式に開業しました。  

本施設は、地域におけるスポーツ環境のさらなる充実に向けた新たな一歩であり、住民や来訪者の皆さまに、健康づくりやレクリエーション、コミュニティ交流の新しい場を提供します。  

本プロジェクトは、今後3年間のネーミングライツを保有する TOTO VIETNAM の支援によって実現しました。また、同社には来訪者がスポーツをより快適に楽しんでいただけるよう、更衣室、シャワールーム、トイレなどの改修にもご協力いただきました。改修内容には、トイレ6室、洗面台7台、男性用小便器4台、シャワールーム2室が含まれます。 

本施設には屋根付きピックルボールコート6面を完備しており、日常の練習から競技大会まで幅広くご利用いただけます。

TOKYU Garden Cityのイベントは、ただ「イベントが行われる場所」ではありません。そこは人々が笑い合い、つながりを感じ、まちの一員であることを実感できる特別な時間です。 

カラフルなステージ、笑顔で遊ぶ子どもたち、にぎやかなブースを楽しむ大人たち…これらは、このまちのイベントでよく見かける、親しみ深い光景となりました。 

では、その光景を陰で支えているのは誰でしょうか？ 

1. まちの「喜びのリズム」を支える人たち 

べカメックス東急のイベントチームは小さなチームながら、アイデア出し、予算管理、テナントとの連携、現場の運営、さらには広報までも…すべてのイベントは、時間との闘いであり、柔軟な対応力が求められます。 

すべてを外部委託するのではなく、自分たちの手で計画を形にします。なぜなら、TOKYU Garden City を誰よりもよく知っているのは、ここに住み、ここで働く彼ら自身だからです。 

まちを熟知し、住民のニーズを理解し、そのうえで住民一人ひとりに寄り添った意味のあるイベントをつくり出していきます。 彼らは、ただ「プログラムを運営する」のではなく、住民の「思い出をつくっている」のです。 

2. イベントの裏側を支えるスタッフたちのストーリー 

「イベント運営で、一番心に残っている瞬間は？」 その問いに対し、イベントスタッフがそれぞれのストーリーを持っています。 

イベントプランナーとして、一番嬉しいのは、アイデアが形になった瞬間です。もちろん、予算、人員、天候などの理由で、最初のプラン通りにいかず、状況に合わせて調整が行われることもあります。しかし、イベント当日に住民や来場者の皆さんに楽しんでいただけたとき、そうした変更はイベントをより充実したものにするために必要だったのだと実感しました。 

写真・映像を担当する私は、イベントの瞬間やゲストの感情を記録する役目です。 

キラキラとした空間の中で子どもたちの笑顔やクラシック音楽に耳を傾ける家族の穏やかなひととき、グラウンドでの劇的なゴールに沸き上がる感動の一瞬を切り取っています。 

どのイベントにおいても、私たちは常に多くの関係者をつなぎ、住民やお客様に多様な体験を届けたいと考えています。その『つなぎ役』として、テナントの利益とイベント全体の統一感を両立させるのが私の役割です。 

イベント終了後、お客様が満足した笑顔で帰る姿を見ると、それは単なる「つなぎ役」だけでなく、「ともに歩む」ことだと、この仕事の価値を強く感じます。双方が目標を達成できるように伴走する、それが私の目指す“Win-Winの精神”です。

Duongさん（オペレーションスタッフ）

一番心に残っているのは、Hikari の一角で、来場者が笑い、会話し、イベントに積極的に参加している姿を見た瞬間です。音響、照明、ブース、スタッフ…全てがスムーズに動いていて、何日も準備してきた努力が報われたと感じました。 

私たちは単にイベントを行ったのではなく、「また来たい」と思っていただける体験をつくり出したのです。 

一度、パフォーマンス直前にLEDスクリーンが突然消えてしまったことがありました。かなり緊張しましたが、MCがすぐに観客とのやり取りで場をつなぎ、その間に私は対応できました。5分以内で復旧し、イベントは問題なく続行。ほっと胸をなでおろすと同時に、イベントを円滑に進行させたチームワークの大切さをあらためて実感しました。 

3. イベントができるまでの道のり 

イベント自体は数時間で終わってしまいますが、準備には数ヶ月の時間がかかります。 

企画会議、予算立案、空間設計、パートナー・テナントとの打ち合わせ、現場視察、ステージのリハーサル、機材チェックまで―― 当日の運営がスムーズに進むよう、すべてが綿密に計画されます。 

しかし、イベント運営とは常に「予期せぬ事態への備え」でもあります。天候による変更、納品スケジュールに応じた内容の調整、直前の演出修正…こうした場面は決して珍しくありません。そのような場面でこそ、チームの冷静さ・柔軟性・経験が真価を発揮します。 

イベントのためにどれだけ残業を重ねたか、直前にどれほど細かい確認をしたかなんて、スタッフは誰も数えていません。大事なのは、イベントが始まった瞬間から滞りなく、スムーズで心地よい時間を届けること。それだけを目指して準備しています。 

4. 単なるイベントではなく、「住みやすい街づくり」へ 

TOKYU Garden City では、イベントは単なる娯楽ではなく、コミュニティに長く続く価値を生み出す役割を担っています。そのため、私たちが行う一つひとつのイベントは、住民同士がつながり、喜びを分かち合い、思い出を築く機会でもあります。 

「暮らす場所」だけではなく、「楽しむ場所」へ。 
 施設や景観に加え、心を動かすイベントがあることで、このまちは活気ある持続可能な都市へと育ち続けています。

イベントをつくる人たち ― 活気あふれるまちに笑顔をつくりだす

My name is Nguyen Dong Anh. I am 9 years old and I live in Binh Duong New City. I love playing many sports such as track and field, badminton, basketball and my most favorite one is football. After school, my parents also support me in attending a football class at Kawasaki Frontale Football School.

When did you start attending Kawasaki Frontale Football School? What do you enjoy the most there?

I have been attending Kawasaki Frontale Football School since 2023. The school has provided me the opportunity to learn and to play with my friends, and to participate in exciting matches. One of the highlights being here was traveling to Da Lat and Japan for competitions. I've had many unforgettable memories with my coaches and friends. Every training session is something I always look forward to. 

Which football match do you remember the most?

The match in Da Lat was the most memorable day! My team played amazing and we won 15-3. I was so happy because we all worked hard together to win. It was also my first time competing somewhere far away from home. That's why I'll never forget that day.

On weekends, I usually help my mother with chores such as cleaning or organizing things. And whenever we go shopping, I help her carry the bags. I feel happy because I can help my mother to be less busy. Sometimes, I also go on business trips with my parents to Binh Phuoc. On those trips, I get to experience many new things with my siblings, so I find the trips very interesting.

Weekends are a great time to play with my siblings. We love playing badminton, basketball, running, and drawing. Binh Duong New City has many places for us to do these activities, so I'm always excited.

How do you feel living in Binh Duong New City?

I love living in Binh Duong New City because this place is always energetic. The city is full of beautiful skyscrapers with modern interiors. My siblings and I especially love Hikari Commercial Area and SORA gardens SC. There's an AEON Mall in SORA gardens SC where my family often goes shopping and dining. Every day in Binh Duong New City feels like a new adventure!

Mr. Dai - Dong Anh's father has provided his perspective on child-rearing environment in Binh Duong New City.

Why do you support your children taking part in activities beside their school studies?

We encourage our children to participate in a variety of extracurricular activities because it helps them to have more fun and also develops essential soft skills. At Kawasaki Frontale Football School, in particular, teachers create a dynamic and positive environment where children can both play and learn many interesting things with their peers. Sometimes, the school even organizes activities that the whole family can participate in, giving us a chance to bond more closely with our children. These moments are truly meaningful for our family.

Our family has been living in Binh Duong New City since 2021, making it three years now. We have found that there's a range of fun and engaging activities, especially for children. The city always hosts events and festivals that not only provide healthy space for kids but also strengthen family bonds. This creates a vibrant and positive atmosphere for the community, and we're so glad we chose to live and grow here. 

Do you think Binh Duong New City is an ideal place to raise children?

In our opinion, the living environment is the most important factor when it comes to choosing a place to raise our children. We want a place filled with kind people, positive energy, and of course a safe, healthy environment for the kids. And Binh Duong New City fully meets these criteria, making it an ideal place for our children to grow up. Not only does it have modern infrastructure and high-end amenities but the community is also very civilized and friendly. We are truly proud to be citizens of Binh Duong New City.

Every day in Binh Duong New City feels like a new adventure!

Dong Anh has been living with his parents and 4 sisters in Binh Duong New City since 2021. Right now, he's an energetic little resident at SORA gardens II. Dong Anh is encouraged by his family to participate in extracurricular activities in order to develop physically and mentally and have a fulfilling childhood.

What made you decide to open "Phở Triều"?

Mr. Trieu: Before deciding to start a business at MIDORI PARK HARUKA, I had been living and working in Binh Duong New City for three years. During that time, I noticed that the area attracted many residents from various countries, which led to a rich culinary scene with numerous Taiwanese, Korean, and Japanese restaurants. However, there was a noticeable lack of authentic Vietnamese restaurants.

My family has nearly 20 years of experience in the food industry, and I have a deep passion for Vietnamese cuisine. Therefore, in March 2024, I decided to open "Phở Triều," a restaurant specializing in Vietnamese cuisine with "phở" as the signature dish, to introduce the flavors of our homeland to the international community here.

Already having experience in business, did you encounter any challenges with "Phở Triều"?

Mr. Trieu: Although I have experience before, opening "Phở Triều" still presented quite a few challenges. The first was the effort to develop an authentic Vietnamese pho recipe. Even though my family already owned a well-known pho restaurant in the center of Thu Dau Mot City, we wanted "Phở Triều" to have its own unique recipe while still maintaining the true flavor of Vietnamese pho.

The next challenge was sourcing high-quality and safe ingredients, such as Cu Chi beef, to ensure the quality of our dishes. This is crucial not only for the taste but also for food safety.

Ms. Minh: Another aspect that I paid attention to was the design of the restaurant's space. We focused not only on making the food delicious and hygienic but also on creating a comfortable, familiar atmosphere with a distinctly Vietnamese vibe. This way, customers can experience not just the flavors but also the ambiance of Vietnam right in our restaurant.

Could you share a bit about your restaurant's customers? How do they respond to the Vietnamese dishes at your restaurant?

Ms. Minh: Fortunately, "Phở Triều" has been very well received by both Vietnamese and international customers. Our Vietnamese customers often say they love the light and subtly sweet yet savory taste of our dishes, which suits the Southern palate. As for our international customers, they are particularly fond of our pho and often come back for more. We even have some regulars who are residents of HARUKA or work in nearby offices (laughs).

Mr. Trieu: The positive feedback from our customers is a great motivation for us to keep improving and refining our services. In the near future, we plan to add more traditional Vietnamese dishes to our menu to offer our customers a richer variety of choices.

As both a tenant and a resident of MIDORI PARK HARUKA, what do you particularly love about the environment here? 

At MIDORI PARK HARUKA, we can fully take advantage of the convenience of both running a business and living here. The front facing Vo Nguyen Giap Street makes it easy for us to attract customers. Whereas, the back area of the establishment, with a yard and internal pathways, provides a private and quiet space, ideal for rest and relaxation.

A significant advantage of this environment is the security system with gates and guards, which gives us complete peace of mind, especially with young children. Our kids can play in the safe area without any concerns about security.

Do your family have any favorite leisure activities here? 

Ms. Minh: My family really enjoys taking walks and soaking up the green space at MIDORI PARK HARUKA. We frequently stroll along the internal pathways, surrounded by lush greenery and a peaceful atmosphere, which makes us feel immersed in nature despite being in an urban area. My husband and I often use this time to chat and relax, while our children enjoy roller skating or playing with the neighborhood kids. 

Most importantly, we feel completely secure because this area is very safe and friendly.

In your opinion, what are the standout features of the living environment at TOKYU Garden City that support the overall development of children?

Ms. Minh: As a mother, I am very pleased with the environment at TOKYU Garden City, which provides an excellent setting for the holistic development of children. Besides their school education, I always hope for my children to engage in recreational and physical activities. Currently, my two kids are attending Kawasaki Frontale Football School, where they not only learn professional football techniques from Japanese coaches but also develop essential soft skills. I’ve noticed that they’ve become more energetic and confident after their time there.

Mr. Trieu: Additionally, TOKYU Garden City frequently hosts a variety of cultural and outdoor entertainment events. My family is always excited to participate and never misses any events (laughs).

What changes or improvements do you hope to see in TOKYU Garden City in the future?

Mr. Trieu: I believe that as the area becomes more populated, a wider range of businesses, shops, and services will emerge, creating a dynamic and bustling living and working environment. This will not only benefit the community but also drive the economic development of the area.

Ms. Minh: As for me, I hope that the MIDORI area will add more spaces and amenities for children living here. Facilities like sports fields, badminton courts, or safe play areas would be a great addition, providing kids with places to exercise and socialize with friends. I believe these amenities will be a key factor in making this area an ideal place for families to live, both for themselves and their children.

Finding authentic Vietnamese cuisine in a multicultural city

Mr. Trieu was born and grew up in Thu Dau Mot City. Three years ago, he, his wife, and their two children moved to Binh Duong New City. During his time living there, he noticed the potential for developing a Vietnamese cuisine business. With his family's experience in the food industry, in March 2024, he and his wife decided to open "Phở Triều" at MIDORI PARK HARUKA, a shophouse project in Binh Duong New City.

NITORI is a chain of furniture retail store in Japan from 1967 established by Mr. Akio NITORI, currently we have more than 255 store around the world, last September we have opened the very first store in Vietnam at SORA gardens SC, Binh Duong New City, Binh Duong province.

We were excited when receive the offer from TOKYU Garden City for coming to SORA gardens SC, but it also took time for us for consideration and planning.

At every store we open that the result of long and careful research into the market, demands and style of product local people care about. We recognized the potential of TOKYU Garden City where people living and coming here are very dynamic and multiculturalism. This aspect is matching with NITORI: Although culture can be different, we still together build up the innovating future.

I was born in the city of Kyoto, known as a cultural city of Japan and a famous tourist destination. Before starting to work at NITORI Vietnam, I had the opportunity to experience various fields and jobs, such as store management, logistics operations, etc. These experiences have given me a lot of knowledge and helped me understand the process from production to sales

What does a working day look like for you?

 My working day begins with inspecting the sales areas and analyzing sales data to devise the most suitable advertising and promotional strategies. Additionally, I use this data to create ordering plans and arrange products in the store.

Though my day is quite busy, I always make time to discuss and train the staff working here. This not only helps boost their morale but also fosters better teamwork and understanding among everyone in the store.

How would you describe the business environment in Binh Duong New City?

Binh Duong New City is a very interesting area. When I came here, I felt the innovation, creativity, and diversity of this place, and particularly, these qualities also apply to the people here.

With the presence of many age groups, our product lines have become more diverse and offer more choices for customers. We understand that deciding to purchase furniture for one's home is not an easy and simple choice for consumers here. For this reason, we always strive to improve the quality of our products, designs, and customer service and consultation when they come to NITORI.

Another quite interesting point is that Binh Duong New City is very diverse in terms of multicultural aspects, with many foreigners from both Asia and Europe living and working here. This also makes the types of services and shopping more vibrant, as it forces business stores to become more diverse to meet the needs of customers.

When I first arrived at Binh Duong New City, I was impressed by the scenery and the people. Everyone is very friendly and always ready to help others, even if they are foreigners. Additionally, the landscape here is truly captivating with many green spaces and well-planned roads. 

I was even more delighted to meet and talk with other Japanese people living and working here. You know, working in a country that is not your homeland but having the chance to meet fellow countrymen is truly wonderful for me.

With its designation as the cultural, political, economic, and strategic hub of Binh Duong province, we believe that the future of Binh Duong New City is very promising and potential. Evidence for this viewpoint is the substantial and well-planned investment in housing, shopping, and working projects in Binh Duong New City. I can use SORA gardens SC shopping center as a prime example.

With NITORI opening its first store in Binh Duong New City, we believe that as this place continues to develop and become more populous, the NITORI brand will become increasingly known and trusted, not only by the residents living here but also by visitors to this area.

Japanese man and the expectation to materialize dream living space

Before coming to Binh Duong New City, Tanaka Hirokazu worked at NITORI Interior, a subsidiary of NITORI in Hanoi, which helped him understand the sales process and the shopping psychology of customers in this country.
