Football Tournament of Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants 2024

This morning, at the SORA gardens Links football pitch in Binh Duong New City, the 2024 Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament officially kicked off. The tournament is jointly organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and Tuoi Tre Newspaper. This is the second time the tournament has been held, aimed at creating a platform for networking, promoting health, and fostering solidarity among workers and civil servants nationwide. The matches are played in the spirit of fair play and promise to deliver many exciting moments.

SORA gardens Links is honored to be selected as the venue for the qualifying rounds of the tournament for the second consecutive year. Many fans, along with representatives from the General Confederation leadership, Binh Duong provincial authorities, and various enterprises, were present to witness the opening ceremony.

The 2024 Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament follows a 7-a-side football format, with matches conducted under the rules issued by the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF). The tournament operates under the nationwide trade union system, with more than 60 teams participating, representing provincial/city trade unions, industrial unions, and businesses across the country.

The tournament will be played in two stages. The qualifiers are held from September to October 2024 in four regions: Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Nghe An, and Bac Ninh. The top 16 teams from the qualifiers will earn a spot in the national finals, to be held in November in Hanoi.
