Music narrows down the differentiation in cultures, colours or races,

Music brings the “power”, “bravery”,

And also music, is the healing factor that spread happiness, and bring people in the world closer to one another.

Counting on the key power of music, and attempting on contributing to the sustainable development of the community, Becamex IDC Corporation, BECAMEX TOKYU, along with the support from other partners, present the Project of “Binh Duong New City Culture Festival”, hoping to bring the citizens in Binh Duong an occasion of enjoying exceptional pieces of music, hence contribute to the vision of making Binh Duong a dynamic city filled with unique cultural identity, using the power of “music”.

The very first event of the Project, named “VNSO Spring Concert”, was held on March 5, 2022, featured the performance of the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra (VNSO) under the leading of the talented conductor Honna Tetsuji. The event was sponsored by the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam, the People’s Committee of Binh Duong Province, and the Japanese Commerce and Industry of Ho Chi Minh City.

The VNSO Spring Concert welcomed the participation of very important guests such as the Consulate General of Japan in Ho Chi Minh City Mr. Nobuhiro Watanabe and his wife, the Central Commitee of the Government Party-Secretary of Provincial Party Committee of Binh Duong-representative of the Congress party Mr. Nguyen Van Loi, and nearly 1000 audiences from Binh Duong and HCMC. The hall was filled with big rounds of applauses between the remarkable performances of the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra.

90 minutes of the show were the moments when both the audiences and the Orchestra dived in the contentment as well as felt the beauty and the happiness from music with the world-famous pieces of Light Cavalry, Intermezzo (from the Opera “Cavalleria Rusticana”), Bolero, Prelude (from the Opera “Carmen”), Die Moldau, series of Ghibli Studio’s popular animations’ soundtrack - A Town With An Ocean View (from "Kiki’s Delivery Service"), One Summer’s Day (from "Spirited Away"), Sanpo (from "My Neighbor Totoro"), and songs that have committed in the memory of many generations of Vietnamese such as Bai Ca Hy Vong, Mua Xuan Dau Tien, and Trong Com. The voice of the “nightingale of the classical crossover” Pham Thu Ha performing the 2 songs Bai Ca Hy Vong and Mua Xuan Dau Tien even made it more impossible for the audiences to get their attention off the stage.

Especially, in the Prelude of the Opera “Carmen”, the audiences had an interesting and unforgettable memory when being able to join the “Conductor Corner” and conduct the orchestra with Conductor Honna Tetsuji. Not only the young audiences but also the adults couldn’t resist this challenge.
