FARM TO TABLE AND INTERNATIONAL COMMUNICATION’S MENTION

In the 4.0 age where we constantly limit ourselves in facility-filled offices and tiny homes that we call contemporary, with few trees in the center of congested cities, the Community Garden of TOKYU Garden City is a green space for the residents, workers, or foreigners and children become “real farmers” and enjoy reconnecting with the freshness in nature.

The garden serves as a connection point between residents' “warming neighborhood”, or a space where kids can merge with nature among the greeneries. The residents get to look after a small green "organic" vegetable bed by themselves and bring home all the fresh vegetables that they harvested there for their family's meals.

Apart from being a valuable resource for locals as well as a highlight of the environment, The Community Garden is greatly appreciated by the residents as well as the media in Vietnam and abroad. In a series about new agricultural ideas, the Japanese press Wedge had positive opinions and mentioned the model as a valuable effort for an urban development project.
