Hikari meaning “Light” in Japanese, and the circular food court in the center of the facility resembles the sun, shining all customers and the city itself with bright light, and warmly welcoming customers in a space full of smiles.
About
Sustainable development with a concept of “Made to Enlighten”
Hikari is located in the center of New City adjacent to the Binh Duong Provincial Administrative Center, and has a full range of service functions to enrich the food and livelihoods of the government building, workers in the adjacent industrial zone, and local residents.
In the first phase, the 350-seat Hikari Food Court - which opened in January 2015 - has Japanese, Chinese, and of course Vietnamese food booths, where customers can enjoy a wide variety of meals. In addition, there are cafes and restaurants, and it has become a well-established relaxing place for people living in Binh Duong New City.
In 2021, the Hikari Complex started construction as the second area expansion. We set up a new brand concept “Made to enlighten” for the entire Hikari area, and aim to provide residents with a richer and more comfortable life. Hikari Complex is a commercial facility full of water, greenery and light, which is suitable for the nature-rich Binh Duong New City. Hikari Complex is consisting of about 15 sections of restaurants and cafes, and consists of one or two floors of buildings.

Sustainable efforts to connect to the next generation
Together with “Compost” (compost the garbage discharged from restaurants of the facility) and “Aquaponics” (a circulation type in which plants grow using the excrement of fish cultivated in the pond in the facility as nutrients), we are also taking on the challenge of various sustainable initiatives, such as planning the planting in the facility with the concept of “Edible Landscape”.
