CLOSING CEREMONY & AWARD PRESENTATION - THE 7TH VIETNAM - JAPAN U13 INTERNATIONAL YOUTH FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT
After 4 days of exciting competition filled with dramatic and memorable moments from young talents, the 7th Vietnam-Japan U13 International Youth Football Tournament officially concluded, leaving strong impressions and positive emotions among spectators.
The Closing Ceremony and Award Presentation were attended by:
- Mr. Ono Masuo – Consul General of Japan in Ho Chi Minh City
- Mr. Cao Van Chong – Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports
- Mr. Ho Hong Thach – Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Football Federation; Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company
- Mr. Nguyen Hoan Vu – Chief Executive Officer of Becamex Group
- Mr. Hirata Shuji – General Director of Becamex Tokyu Co., Ltd., representative of the Tournament Organizing Committee
Along with other distinguished guests.
This year’s tournament featured 12 teams from Vietnam, Japan and Singapore, and took place from 18/12 to 21/12/2025. After a series of matches marked by determination and fair play, the final results were as follows:
- Third Place: Kawasaki Frontale Ikuta
- Runner-up: Kawasaki Frontale Todoroki
- Champion: Becamex Ho Chi Minh City FC
In addition to the team awards, the Organizing Committee also presented individual honors:
- Best Goalkeeper: Nguyen Van Quan (Becamex HCMC FC)
- Top Scorer: Vu Ngoc Duy (Becamex HCMC FC)
- Most Valuable Player: Isora Aiba (Kawasaki Frontale Todoroki)
As part of the closing program, a friendly All-Star Vietnam vs. All-Star Japan & Singapore match was held, featuring intense plays and a strong competitive spirit. The match ended with a 1-0 victory for the All-Star Japan & Singapore team.
Going beyond the framework of a sporting competition, Vietnam-Japan U13 International Youth Football Tournament continues to serve as a platform where young talents are nurtured, friendships are formed, and the spirit of exchange and friendship among Vietnam, Japan and Singapore is strengthened-becoming a meaningful launching pad for youth football in Vietnam and internationally in the future.
