Becamex Tokyu Officially Launches “BTC+,” a Smart City Digital Foundation App
On August 20, 2026, Becamex Tokyu officially launched the mobile app “BTC+” as a digital foundation for realizing smart cities.
“BTC+” is primarily aimed at residents of the approximately 3,000 housing units that Becamex Tokyu has developed to date. The app brings together a wide range of community-related services - including local information, commercial facilities, transportation, and residential management - on a single platform. With the introduction of “BTC+”, Becamex Tokyu is beginning to provide a new digital urban infrastructure that connects community services and information through the use of digital technology, in addition to physical urban development such as residential and commercial facilities.
“BTC+” brings together functions essential to residents’ daily lives in a single app, including local event information, vouchers offered in collaboration with commercial facilities, support for access to public transportation services, real-time updates on residential-related information, and online payment of residential management fees. Among these functions, local event information and commercial facility coupons are also available to visitors to TOKYU Garden City. Through “BTC+”, Becamex Tokyu will promote the use of the platform to connect not only residents but also the diverse visitors to the community with the local area.
By consolidating information and services previously provided through multiple channels into “BTC+,” Becamex Tokyu aims to improve convenience for residents while streamlining information dissemination and management operations. Moving forward, the company will gradually expand the user base in line with the expansion of its housing projects, while strengthening integration with various community functions - including commercial facilities and transportation services - to develop “BTC+” into the digital foundation for TOKYU Garden City’s smart city initiative.
