SORA gardens Links opened

On June 17, BECAMEX TOKYU opened the complex "SORA gardens Links" in Binh Duong New City, Binh Duong's southern province. The complex includes Vietnam's first covered football field, a skate park, a community garden, a baseball field, and shophouses. Kawasaki Frontale is using this facility to organize events and run the Kawasaki Frontale Football School project (the basic agreement was signed in May 2021).

Football is a popular sport in Vietnam, enjoyed by people of all ages. However, the hot weather typical of Southeast Asia and the half-year rainy season poses significant challenges. We will make people in Binh Duong New City smile more by using a covered football field to solve these problems.

It is hoped that the players who have grown up on this football field will go on to become professional players in Vietnam. In addition to its intended use for Kawasaki Frontale School students, it will be used for a variety of purposes such as public rental, futsal tournaments, and the popular 7-a-side football game in Vietnam.

On Saturday, June 17, many important figures from Japan and Vietnam attended the Opening ceremony. In addition, a "Sports Festival" was held immediately following the opening ceremony, with the assistance of JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency). The festival has created a playground for Vietnamese children to experience many different sports for free, approximately more than 1,000 people from Binh Duong New City and surrounding areas have participated in response to the event.

The shop area of SORA gardens Links will now receive tenants in turn, making this area more convenient and fun for both residents of SORA gardens and frequent visitors.

From now on, Kawasaki Frontale and BECAMEX TOKYU will strengthen our cooperation in Vietnam by using the SORA gardens Links football field, and we plan to carry out numerous community-related projects and events!
