BECAMEX TOKYU Co., Ltd founded

27th February 2013, Tokyu Corporation decided to establish with Becamex IDC Corp. a joint venture company that will carry out real estate development as part of its initiatives to develop a town in Binh Duong New City. The joint venture company’s name is BECAMEX TOKYU CO., LTD. And established on March 01st 2012. Capital is 18,600 billion Vietnamese dong (approximately 32.7 billion yen).

Tokyu Corporation has a long and successful track record in the real estate market in Japan with one of its key project, “Tokyu Tama Den-en Toshi”. By using the know-how acquired through urban real estate development in Japan, and the network strength of the Tokyu Group, BECAMEX TOKYU will carry out one of the largest urban developments in Vietnam, and be the first Japanese company to offer its expertise to the Vietnamese people. BECAMEX TOKYU will develop “Tokyu Binh Duong Garden City”, which is located in Binh Duong New City, about 30 km to the north from Ho Chi Minh City, where IPAC of Binh Duong Province will be relocated next year. The overall project “Tokyu Binh Duong Garden City” approximately 110 ha (land areas is 71 ha). Upon completion Tokyu Binh Duong Garden City will provide more than 7,500 houses, along with commercial and service facilities.
