2021 Japan Festival in TOKYU Garden City

The TOKYU Group Japan Festival is back to TOKYU Garden City after one year of postponement due to the spread of COVID-19. Unlike the previous times when the festival often lasted for 2 days, this year’s festival is held every weekend from March 27 to May 3 so that visitors can enjoy more of the festive atmosphere.

TOKYU Group Japan Festival is an annual event held at Hikari Food Court in TOKYU Garden City, Binh Duong New City by TOKYU Group and BECAMEX TOKYU. With the concept “Hanami – An enchanting new season”, the 2021 Japan Festival features a glorious Sakura (cherry blossom) decoration area and many weekend community activities, bringing “a true Japanese spring” to the residents of Binh Duong New City and Binh Duong.

The festival’s concept is inspired by the “hanami” (watching flower) in Japan when the spring comes and the flowers bloom in this country. At this time of year, people would enjoy the food and drink in a picnic, wandering and taking photos under the Sakura trees.

BECAMEX TOKYU carries that spirit and host a festivity where everyone can “start a new season” in this city with the enchanting Sakura, and can feel the “hanami” to its fullest with their friends and family.

Besides the Sakura decoration, the Japan Festival also features weekend community activities such as Yukata dress-up experience, food vendors with dishes that are popular at Japanese spring festivals, as well as yosakoi and music performances on Saturdays. The activities last from March 27 to May 3.
