The Tokyu Group began as Meguro-Kamata Railway Company in 1922. The group comprises many companies and incorporated entities, all owned by the Tokyu Corporation. The cornerstone of the group's business is urban development as well as transportation services. For many years the company business portfolio has spanned the fields of real estate, lifestyle services, hospitality, business support services and many other activities deeply embedded in the daily lives of our customers.

Since its establishment in 1976, Becamex IDC Corp. has invested mainly in construction of industrial zones, resident areas and urban traffic infrastructure. In industrial zone investment, Becamex IDC has built Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park, My Phuoc Urban Area, and other industry park complex. Moreover, Becamex IDC has many subsidiaries with 100% capital investment or capital contribution covering areas of securities, finance, insurance, banking, construction, trading, real estate, telecommunications – information technology, concrete production, construction materials, mining, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and education, etc.
Becamex IDC has become one of the leaders in urban development in Binh Duong Province. With modern construction facilities and techniques, a team of highly qualified engineers with deep experiences in the construction sector, the urban development projects joined by the Becamex IDC as the investor have been contributing to the development of Binh Duong New City.
