BINH DUONG URBAN PLANNING SEMINAR

On November 24th, 2020, Binh Duong’s Department of Construction and Binh Duong Construction Association hosted a seminar themed “Binh Duong Urban planning – Situation, Solution and Development directions” at Bcons Binh Duong hotel.

The purpose of the seminar is to consider the current situation and the weakness of urban planning in Binh Duong to recommend the management and sustainable development directions for the upcoming period of 2020-2025. The primary objective is to bring Binh Duong into a leading industrial center by 2030 and a regional/national smart city by 2045.

At the seminar, Mr. Oh Dongkun, the General Director of BECAMEX TOKYU Co., Ltd., shared the TOKYU Corporation’s experiences in urban planning in Japan, TOKYU’s Japanese urban development know-how adapting the TOD (Transit Oriented Development) as well as the projects that are being developed by the BECAMEX TOKYU in Binh Duong New City adapting the know-how.

On the other hand, BECAMEX TOKYU is also  making major contribution in changing the urbanism look of Binh Duong New City, with many residential, commercial and smart public transportation projects. The company’s vision is to create a continually and sustainably livable city in the near future.
