TOKYU Group Japan Festival 2023: A vibrant Japan in Binh Duong New City
After 2 event days of March 25 and 26, the 6th TOKYU Group Japan Festival ended with exceeding success when welcomed nearly 30,000 visitors Hikari Area.
Since its first event in 2016, TOKYU Group Japan Festival has been an annual festivity for people of Binh Duong and visitors who came to enjoy the festivity atmosphere and experience the cultural activities, as well as Japanese and international dishes.
This year's event pursues the concept of "Feel Japan", and brought the fair-goers a vibrant set of lantern decorations, and a yagura stage that reminds people of festivals in Japan. Visitors got to find various tasty dishes from the cuisine booths, turned into Japanese and wander in Japan's Yukata, took part in activities such as fan painting, making and decorating pottery, or challenged with games including fishing yoyo ball, scooping goldfish, toy shooting,...experienced other products and services, or enjoy the stage performances from Japanese and Vietnamese bands.
Especially, visitors to this year's event also got to join the organizer and the community in the traditional dance Bon Odori performance.
In addition to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam-Japan diploma relationship (1973-2023), the Japan Festival event was held with the vision of spreading the Japanese culture closer to the people of Binh Duong, as well as connecting the communities and local people through cultural events that welcome the mass participation of multinational communities, so that each and every member could feel the connection with the city, hence contribute to the community and development of Binh Duong New City and Binh Duong province.
